Resilient Lehigh Valley offers in-person trainings designed to benefit the community by deepening understanding of trauma and building resilience. Our sessions, ranging from 2.5 hours to 6 hours, cover essential topics such as Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), the impact of trauma on brain functioning, and evidence-based practices for healing and resilience. These trainings equip participants with practical tools to create safe and supportive environments for individuals and families, thereby fostering a more resilient community.
For example, "From Trauma to Hope and Resilience" explains the definitions and impacts of trauma and resilience, providing resources to mitigate trauma's effects. "Healing the Brain and Moving Toward Resilience After Trauma" delves into how trauma affects brain function and behavior, offering strategies for healing. "Addressing Vicarious Trauma in Helping Professionals" explores the concepts of compassion fatigue and provides evidence-based practices to build compassion resilience.
By participating in these trainings, individuals and organizations can develop trauma-informed approaches, enhance emotional regulation, and adopt restorative practices that build community and repair relationships. Join us to empower yourself and contribute to a resilient and compassionate community.
