We are excited to announce that Ashi Singh, currently serving as Director, Impact Data, will take on a new role at United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley beginning December 11. In her new position as Director, Community Resilience, Ashi will support community resilience through engagement, advocacy, and innovation. In addition to those responsibilities, she will lead Resilient Lehigh Valley, whose goal is to create a resilient and trauma-informed Lehigh Valley.
“My experiences with United Way over the past few years have offered me the necessary background and insight to fully develop in this new role,” says Ashi. “Among other things, I worked to establish the foundation on which Resilient Lehigh Valley is built, and look forward to weaving those practices into the larger body of work that United Way executes every day.”
Ashi has been a valuable member of the United Way team since March 2022, previously serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA for over three years in the Impact area of Community Resilience. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is currently pursuing an MSS with the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, set to graduate in May 2024.
In her free time, Ashi enjoys spending quiet evenings at home with her two cats, Wren and Calvin (ask her for pictures, she’ll be happy to share). She looks forward to collaborating with trusted partners and the community to create a happy, healthy, and resilient Lehigh Valley.
We are confident that Ashi’s passion, dedication, and expertise will continue to significantly impact our community as she takes on this new and important role. Join us in congratulating Ashi on this exciting new chapter!
